Mara slowly walked towards them both, she then listened to shira speak, seemly declaring that Tama should not turn her special eyes off. Mara isn't think it was quite fair but she guessed this was more training for Tama and not for her, but something about how shira said things seem kinda off, like if Tama didn't use it she might get hurt.

she looked at Tama as she gave her a thump up. "I suppose it would be good to spar with other then my teachers..." she would say before listening to Tama explain her plans to make her own style. " I think you should wait on naming it just yet I mean, it takes years to make such a thing" she would take a few steps back before saying "So shall we start." she would say before moving her hand down to her sword

Tama started to grin as she vaulted backwards one third of a yard. After standing firm, she entered her signature Iaido stance. Her right foot slowly slid forward to a comfortable position, back foot slid backwards a tiny bit, her left hand clenched the top of the Saya, and last but not least Tama's right hand was resting about a foot above the blade's Tsuka. Staring directly towards Mara, she gazed and examined her opponent. Her red eyes focused on every movement of her body small and large. She was ready to display her prowess with the sword, which unbeknownst to her would be increased almost tenfold by her eyes. She was ready to fight her newfound friend.

With every moment that passed a small breeze swallowed across the area. This caused Tama's tails to flutter in the momentary flittery. As per most ancient tales of samurai fights the breeze tore a small leaf from a nearby tree. As they would stand deadlocked the leaf would slowly flutter to the ground. The instant the full leaf had landed like a distant feather upon a soft pillow Tama burst forth with all her strength. She wouldn't hold back, not in the least.

"Be forewarned Mara, I never hold back in training. No matter the cost. One can not truly grow stronger if one does not push themselves towards their limits."

Tama's voice echoed through the area as she would reach within four feet of Mara. In that moment, she grasped the Tsuka, pulling the blade forward while simultaneously pulling the Tsuka backwards which had been turned 'ha' facing away from herself. In that instant, the blade was sent careening towards her opponent in a simply horizontal strike. It was almost as if Tama was gauging her opponent at this moment for reaction time. During all of her movements, she kept her red eyes bearing that small tomoe facing towards Mara. She didn't know why she had to do it, but Shira knew best in most cases. As such, she'd accept this and simply comply.

Mara watched Tama as she entered her stance, and like she said that she had been taught by a master of Iaido and the stance was clearly that, which meant she had to watch out for two things, depending on who made the first move, if Mara moved first she could assume a quick defense and counter, but if Tama went first she could a quick attack.

Mara griped her sword, Mara hadn't actully spared with a Iaido user before both her teachers and even her father didn't use that style, but she was still told about it. she watched Tama closely hoping she would make the first move. as soon as Mara saw Tama start her movments Mara griped her sword tighter, just as Tama slashes horizontally at her Mara would quickly move back more dodging the slash, before stepping towards Tama as the attack pasted the area that would have hit her to draw her blade slashing her blade from the ground up at Tama.

Tamafune saw every movement that Mara was beginning to make. Each muscle movement that started with a fine movement began at a thought. Almost as if a mind-reading technique she saw Mara begin her movements. In that moment, Tama displaced her weight to the right. This allowed her to begin a spinning like motion which added centrifugal force to strike Mara's attack head-on. The moment both of their blades would strike each other tama would be sent flying backwards where she would land firmly in place taking a standard Iaido stance. That moment, where she entered the Iaido stance she was now firmly within her own zone. This zone was the hit-box that all Iaido users had which made them nearly invincible.

"I've entered a perfect zone stance. You will be less likely to strike me now. However, I implore you. Please break this zone. Only 1 person has been able to break my zone, and that is Kinta."

Tamafune's body started to swell chakra within her stomach. Her eyes shifted to watch every movement that Mara's body would make. All the while her left hand was ready to release the thing she was swelling inside of her stomach. If all went as planned, she'd name the technique, but for now, she needed to kneed the chakra into a capable fireball for release. She was ready, and it would only take the two colliding their blades to activate the jutsu.

Mara watched as Tama went into her stance and declared it was unbreakable didn't help, that Mara knew she had a unfair advantage with those eyes of hers, this still annoyed Mara. her being defensive meant Mara would have to attack now.

Mara watched for a few moments before rushing foreword slowly removing her sheath from being tied from her side, then she would slam the end of her sheath into the ground in front of her before quickly using to jump off of going into the air above Tama with stab downwards at her.

Watching her movements, Tamafune saw her movements as she made them. A normal katana with normal size, and normal dimensions. Being that what it was, she knew her blade was the same size and dimensions. Doing that, she drew her sword in a throwing like position which tossed the blade upwards into the air. As she did that, her left hand pulled the Saya of her blade upwards where Mara's blade was. In that moment, her blade would enter Tama's saya where she would lead the attack downwards towards the ground. When she got close enough, Tama's right hand entered into a tiger seal. From there, her voice echoed through the area. "Katon: Goukakyuu-Inpei." It was her newly created grand fireball concealment technique. From her mouth a small fireball would spew outwards towards Mara's chest and lower abdomen area. If successful her clothes would ignite. There was not much that Mara could do to deflect the movements, but perhaps she could?

Mara watched as the fireball hit her chest, lightning her vest on fire, that was also not quite fair, she said nothing on using ninjutsu in this fight, she only mentioned sword moves, if she was going to play that way she was just going to have to push even harder. with one quick move she droped her sword to the side, before ripping her vest off knowing there was no point nicely taking it off, as it was ruined anyway, before spining and throwing it towards Tama's face then quickly throwing a punch though the vest aimed at her head.

Tama watched Mara's moves while her stomach began to knead chakra. It seemed that Mara was good at improvising as her vest came off flying towards her face. Well that was new. With a grin, she began to weave a set of seals that came to her almost like a second nature. In an instant, the punch started to come forth through the vest when her voice boomed around the field as fire spewed from her mouth. The fire was red hot which began to become a large ball. The ball sprang forth in a twisting motion aimed directly for Mara. "Katon: Nenten Doragon Jutsu"

The dragon spiraled forth towards Mara incinerating the cloth inside the dragon's mouth. The dragon was around twice the size of Mara's fist, easily able to hold her fist within its mouth. This was the aim. During this movement, she held her right hand upwards towards her mouth as the fire continued to spew outwards. She was prepared to use the Concealment jutsu once again, needing no extra fire as the dragon was producing more than enough to repurpose it. Tama's sword now began to fall downwards. As it fell, Tama's left hand reached out and grasped hold of the Katana's tsuka. In that instant, she began to swing a horizontal swing from left to right.

feeling the flames touch her hand she quickly jumped backwards grabbing her sheath as she did so, she looked over at her hand seemly seeing no damage, which was strange cause she swore she could feel it. however that wasn't important at the moment, as she was now without a sword, and a fire dragon to deal with.

she would quickly move in a circle trying to go around Tama before being a dash right towards her swinging the sheath like a sword horizontally

The fire dragon shifted and turned around following Mara every movement she made. The swipe with her own sword landed down to the ground where she tossed out Mara's sword towards it's owner. In doing that, Tamafune would grab her own sword and place it inside it's own sheath. While doing that, she managed to dodge the horizontal attack. From now though, she was feeling quite fatigued. Knowing this, she would begin to use Kenjutsu inside of her ninjutsu. Until the dragon was dealt with however, she'd simply dodge and move out of the way as best as possible.

Mara would move to the side dodging her thrown sword garbing it as she pasted. she would continue rushing after tama using both her hands to attack, switching from each swing from using her sword and her sheath also switching between horizontal and vertical attacks. she would also make to to pay attention to the dragon, taking peeks on it whenever she could however, Mara had now assumed that her continue to control the dragon would have a slight drain on her, and if she kept it up it would help slower her down.

Tamafune backed up several feet making sure to avoid each attack by succession. With this, the dragon was now barreling towards Mara who was directly in front of Tama. She gave up control for now in order to dodge Mara's hits. If she wasn't careful things could end badly. Every movement she took lead her to recover a bit more. She needed more time however, being that as she needed it was only one course of action. Huffing a bit, she'd dodge to the left one last time allowing her to spin the dragon once more but this time towards Shira. She knew what she was doing. The dragon began barrelling towards Shira as Tamafune entered her Iaido stance. her position during this made her face Mara who was now merely a foot away. In that instant, she moved to slide Mara's side. If it connected, she'd most certainly draw blood. However, by this time the dragon was called back to aim directly at the cut. If the cut hit, the fire would seal the cut hopefully before there was even blood.

Mara was getting more and more annoyed that she couldn't really even lay a hit on Tama, while Tama set her vest on fire. this annoyed her, she wanted to win thats what she was told by her father what mattered, it was to win in anything you did. however as Tama slid past her and started her attack, Mara knew she wouldn't be able the counter, unless she could pull somthing from inside her, some sort of power, she needed it now or she would loose.

as in her mind this was terrifying for some reason the idea of losing at that moment, maybe it would be what her father thought of her, or maybe it was something else. however as she did so, she felt something, it was like something bubbled up out of inside her, she could feel it whatever it was and she grabbed a hold of it, whatever it was she could feel it, she felt like she could do anything at that moment. if anyone looked closely they would see a small ripple pulse out from Mara at that moment, and with a rapid motion move her blade to block Tama's slash and at the same time swing down at the dragon with a powerful swing, creating a small shock wave as she did it.

Tamafune's blade collided with Mara's. At that moment she saw something happening, a welling of chakra. Her eyes became large as she felt the surging power. It was small, but enough to cause Tamafune's pigtails to flutter backwards and completely negate the dragon that was almost to strike her. In that moment, Tamafune's eyes closed as she felt the wave pass through her. She lowered her head slightly, whispering to Mara. "You're holding out on me. Looks like we'll have to train harder next time."

She had said while her movements ceased. She'd remove her blade from the clash and sheath it. She looked towards Shira as her eyes flittered back to gray. Shira looked slightly concerned but not enough to give suspicion that she knew what mara had done. No, instead she seemed to pretend it was for tamafune. After having a bit of conversation with Shira, Tamafune sat down after tieing the blade to her side once more. She huffed a tiny bit because of her chakra reserves were a bit worn now.

"So Mara. Supper?"

Mara would watch as she striked the dragon seemly causing destoryed by her attack, she had attacked in the heat of the moment she wasn't sure if it would even work. but what she wondered more about was that power boost, where did it come from? she wasn't quite sure, when she had used it she swore she could feel something else like something else was there. she then heard Tama whisper to her about her holding back, and Mara looked at her, with a almost confused look, was she? maybe she was, maybe she had more power then she thought.

she watched as Tama talked to Shira about things, Mara didn't listen in and she had other things on her mind. she put her sword away and tied it to her side again. she would look over seeing Tama seemed like she was tired. Mara didn't think that fight was that tiring, but she hadn't used ninjutsu or anything so that might have been the reason. Tama would ask about supper, and Mara thought about it and was was mildly hungry, "sure." she would say

Tama and Mara ended up walking to the tavern with Shira. Once they entered, they managed to find a seat in the back. While there, they ordered a semi large meal which allowed all of them to eat their favorite foods. Once the food got there, Tama woofed down the food in what seemed like seconds but it took a little more than that of course. The eating would soon be over where Tama, Mara, and Shira would sit idly with no real talking going on it seemed. So Tama would spark up and speak.

"Any plans for tomorrow? I was thinking about training again. Or maybe even just doing something else."

Mara followed them into the tavern. as they sat in the back they ordered there food, Mara would take her time eating compared to Tama who seemed to eat her food rather fast, and she guessed it was because she had been so warn out. when Tama mentioned about plans for tomorrow, Mara shrugged " I'm most likely going to get yelled at for sneaking off again, even Though I think I got more out of today then training with them." she would say crossing her arms before mumbling something about it feeling like there scared of her

Tamafune smiled lightly attempting to keep the happier air about the area. Sighing a tiny bit she managed to lean back and keep the air mostly happy after Mara's comment. Looking at her, she watched every movement she made and it seemed as though she was attempting to keep the world out or something. She smiled once more as the thought came to her head, 'well if that's the case then I'll just have to be more your friend' her mind thought as they sat there. Finally it was late and so Tama sat up and proclaimed something, "I'm going to go out and do some missions tomorrow. Maybe get some money so I can earn awesome things. Or something I don't know yet. But we'll do something tomorrow, if you can Mara."

Mara looked over to see Tama smiling, it relaxed her slightly. she sat there thinking about things, something was starting to feel off about her self, and she needed to learn what. Mara would look up as Tama sat up claiming she was going to do some missions and that they would do something tomorrow. Mara stood up as well "we'll see"

Tama happily walked out of the tavern and went home. Of course her goal was to sleep and get some good rest for the night. She'd need it for tomorrow if she was going to do anything worthwhile. Shira accompanied her home and that was that. Tama would enter her house, climb into bed and simply fade to sleep after having put her items away. Of course in the morning she'd be ready and rearing to go for what ever life threw at them. Beit some random fight to train or even a mission!

Mara left the tavern and slowly made her way home. she did not say anything to anyone as shade made her way inside, she placed her stuff away and layed down to sleep.

in her dream she fond herself walking down a path, it was a nice and cheerful seeming day in the dream, the path seemed to lead her to what appeared to be a lake of some sort. she looked down into the reflection seeming herself, however there was something else, something behind it. as she reached down touching it creating a ripple effect, that continued to spread and spread intill it filled the whole lake, something then burst from the lake a massive shadow, Mara looked at it in fear, what apeared to be 6 massive heads looked down at Mara, "open, the, cage, let, us, free." it would say before seemly devouring Mara.

Mara burst awake sweating like mad. she rose from her bed looking out her window, she needed some air. Mara as silent as she could put a new set of clothes on before sneaking out. She knew she shouldn't be sneaking out at this time but she didn't care she really needed to think. As she wandered around, she thought about the days events. She had met Tamafune and Shira, it was finally nice to meet knew people, she really liked meeting somone around her age, she didn't really know if she would be able to continue being friends however, she didn't know what her father would say about them.

Then she thought about the spar she had with Tama, and how fun that had been. It was much more of a rush then with her teachers, and witnessing ninjutsu was also a new thing, she wasn't sure if it was for her or if she would ever use it but to witness something new compared to her normal boring day, was fun. Even if it costed her a vest, maybe she should of made Tama buy her a new one.

Then she remembered the end of there spar, something from deep within her came out, she didn't know what it was. When she felt it, it felt like something alive, it felt like nothing she never felt before, but as the same time it felt like shes always known it. Then she had that dream, and even something about that scared her.

“what do we have here.” a voice would say, it would shake Mara out of her thoughts as she would look up to see two men, with swords. “It looks like a little girl wandered into our turf.” the other man would say, “ I wonder what we should do,” Mara looked at them, while they were wearing rugged clothing, by there body shape and how they stood they were clearly trained, Mara slowly reached down for her sword only to quickly realize she hadn't took it with her, she would quickly jump back as one of the men would swing at her, however the blade would cut into her arm slightly causing some blood to drip onto the ground. Mara would yelp in pain slightly. As she now locked eyes with her two foes. She now noticed she was in a really bad spot, she was in a small allyway backed into a wall with really no were to go.

And while she knew she was in danger she also noticed something else. She looked down where her blood had droped seeing it had droped on some weeds coming from the ground slowly dieing,, Mara would look back at her foes only to see another one try to attack her, she would quickly jump to the side, dodging the attack.

Mara noticing a boarded up window would jump though it into what seemed to be a run down building. She would quickly find somewhere to hide moving more into the building. She could not find the exist or another window, this was even more a problem. She could fight them hand to hand but she wasn't sure if she was skilled enough . She saw a door and quickly ran into it thinking it was a exist only to find a closed off room. She heard the two men talking as they entered the building “Man I got some of that girl's blood on me.” one of them would say, Mara would hear them kicing around things. “so?” the other would say as they continued to search. “ I she had something I'm not feeling so hot. “ he would say, as Mara heard them getting closer to the door Mara would back up. As she saw the door slowly move open. Mara thought back to her spar with Tama and the power she pulled out if only she had that.

She closed her eyes and tried to focus on that moment and tried to feel were that power came from and call out out once more. As Mara focused she could feel something, all the sudden the air got colder and it felt different around her, when she opened her eyes she looked around seeing what appeared to be a massive empty hallway, as she slowly walked down she noticed while it was dark, there seemed to be a light coming from somewhere, though she could not tell the source. This place also seemed like she knew it and was not scared. She finally made her way to find a massive room, as she entered and looked up she could not see the ceiling anywhere, then as she scanned the room agien she found something really strange. A massive sealed dome, on it was a massive lock with what apeared to be six massive metal snakes coming from the middle of the lock. Around the top it seemed like it had breathing holes. She slowly got closer to it and placed her hand on it, she could feel a slight rumble coming from it, and she could also feel the power, this Is were it came from. She looked around and could see no doors, only that lock. However she tried to hit it among other things and it would not open. Then she relised were she was, it was inside her body, and this was her place. She placed her hand onto the massive lock and concentrated hard focusing her mind on opening the lock. After a few moments she heard a loud sound as she opened her eyes she backed up as one of the snake heads seemly pulled itself into the lock, and part of the large doom seemed to open slightly. As she peared inside she was almost disappointed that it was not filled with something, however then she saw something, it moved in the darkness she felt its breathing, a purple gas seemly floated out of the crack in the dome, flowing around the floor seemly sticking to the floor.
At first she was scared, however this was her body, she stepped foreword, “look whatever you are I came down here looking for the power I used before, and I know whatever you are, is what gave it to me, so I demand you give it to me again!” she would yell into the dome, there was almost compete silence other then the slow almost roaring like breathing of whatever was inside. Before she could hear a slight laugh, “ such demands.....” she could hear what seemed to be one then one voice say, “why should I give you anything......why shouldn't I take?” she could hear it say, as the gas along with her was starting to slowly get pulled in, Mara tried to slow herself but couldn't. “Because I listened and opened your cage!” Mara would say, and Mara could feel herself stop and could see the gas also stop. She would start hearing a mix of laughing voices, “you did didn't you....I guess you do need a reward.” the voices would say, before a glowing mist what looked like green chakra would leak out of the Dome and slowly surround Mara, “ use it as you wish.” the voices would say. As it would seemly flow into Mara.

Mara would open her eyes back in the real world, as the men would open the door and walk into the room “ well it looks like its the end of the line.” one of them would say. Mara would only smile, and say “ ya, it is.” before she would look up at them, both of them having now almost fear spread across there faces as Mara's eyes had become snake like, as a Green chakra seemly flowed out of her, Mara could feel the power filling her, it was a rush like no other. She wanted to test it, and luckly she had practice dummies. The two men quickly moved foreword to attack, Mara would quickly grab both of there arms stopping each of there swings, “ now now, this is not the time for toys.” she would say as she twisted there hands causing them to drop there swords. She would then quickly toss them across the room, they would quickly try to get up and room, however Mara only smiled before rushing foreword causing the ground under her to crack as she slammed her fist into one of them causing them to fly though a wall. The other man would start sceaming he gives up and not to kill him. Mara would slowly walk over to him picking up one of there droped swords and pull him up off the ground. “ why should I let you live, you were going to kill me!” she would say putting his blade to his neck. The man with fear filling his eyes would seemly pass out before she could do anything, Mara would sigh as she threw him to the ground taking both of there swords and using them to pin them using there clothes to the floor. Before letting herself relax causing the green chakra to seemly stop flowing from her and her eyes returning to normal. She looked at her hands still unsure of what this power was, the only thing she knew, that it was hers.

Mara would make her way back home before going to sleep tired, the use of the power had seemly warn her body out slightly. She would have to tell Tama about this tomorrow.

Tamafune woke up. She stretched her legs and began leaving her house. "What was that last night. I was dreaming and I felt something, something insane almost. Kind of like.." She was talking aloud before she was interrupted by a figure walking towards her. It was Shira! Tama had looked at Shira and smiled lightly. In doing so, they walked forward towards Mara's house. They trotted slowly but stopped by a store. After a quick purchase they managed to make their way towards Mara's house anyway. Being outside, they knocked on the door where Tama presented the bag to the door before it even opened.

Mara would yawn and stretch awake. as she heard a knock at her door, she would rise out of bed before quickly getting dressed. before opening the door to see Tama holding a bag "Uuuuummm hi, so whats with the bag?" she would say confused at what was happening.

Tama would speak lightly and happily. "Mara-chan! A present for you!" She'd say as she'd push the bag further into Mara's face. She'd hoped that Mara would like the new vest. Rather, she hoped it fit. She was certain that the color was correct but the size she had a tiny bit deciding. But in all she believed she got the right one. Of course only time, and Mara, would tell. It was now that Shira spoke up. "What would you two like to do?"

Mara would take the bag looking inside of it, seeing the new vest. she would pull it out of the bag, before trying it on to make sure it fit fine. "thank you." she would say to them both. she would look over to Shira as she asked what they wanted to. looked around seeing other people around, she knew what she wanted to do is tell someone about last night, however she wasn't quite sure if this would be a good place to do it. " I don't know...."
